Preparation

All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.

Application

Ensure the product is well mixed. Apply 2-3 coats of varnish and brush out well. On new wood and porous surfaces dilute the first coat 10% with white spirit. Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain that may have occurred. For a dead flat finish with high durability and stain resistance, apply one or two coats of eggshell followed by one or two coats of dead flat.

Caution

Always apply to a test area before starting work. Appearance may vary according to the colour and type of wood and the number of coats. Avoid applying in cold or damp conditions as this will delay drying.

Storage

Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.
