Flame Retardant With Roscoflamex PA
Unlike metallic paints made with metal flakes, which can corrode when treated with Roscoflamex PA, Rosco Metallix paint is formulated with mica powder, allowing it to be flame retardant without compromising its finish.

Application of the Rosco Metallic Paints
Surface Preparation: Metallix paint should be applied to surfaces that have been primed with an appropriate, high-quality, water base primer that has fully dried such as the Rosco Tough Prime. Establishing a base color for the primer similar to the chosen Metallix color will result in better coverage and reflectivity.
Application: Stir well before use. Apply in thin, even, uniform coats, using a high-quality brush, roller, or by spraying*. Do not apply when surface or air temperatures are below 50°F (10°C) or above 90°F (32°C). Follow the Recommended Dilution Ratio above if thinner paint is desired. Note that over-thinning may result in loss of hide.
